CARELMAN JACQUES ( 1929-2012 ) Jacques Carelman was a theatre designer and costume creator. From 1952 he worked on "Complaints against a stranger" by Georges Neveux, "L'étrangleuse" by Tristan Bernard, "Les amours de don Perlimplin et de Bélise" by Fédérico Garcia Lorca in 1954, then "L'Ecole des veuves" by Jean Cocteau, "L'homme du destin" (The man of destiny) by G.B. Shaw, and finally on the sets for "Le journal d'un fou" (The diary of a madman) by Gogol and "Jenufa" (Jenufa) by Janacek in 1962. Set of 16 costume models for "L'impromptu de Versailles" by Molière. Gouaches and pencils, signed and annotated. 38 x 22 cm each.
