AUDEMARS PIGUET. Cobra jumbo watch in 18 K (750°/°°) yellow gold circa 1970. Case numbered 66464. Bracelet in 18 K (750°/°°) yellow gold with integrated braided links signed Audemars Piguet, earning it the nickname "Cobra" for its resemblance to the scales of a snake. Very few of these models were made to order. The last Shah of Iran, Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, owned one in white gold and wore it regularly. Gross weight: 140.48 g. Very good condition. No scratches. Little or no use. Works very well, but there is no guarantee of function.
